Salesforce Data Cloud Developer – Contract Opportunity
-Remote (UK Based) -Initial 6-Month Contract -£750 per day Inside IR35 -Active SC Clearance preferred OR eligibility to obtain clearance required
I’m currently supporting a major consulting organisation who are looking to hire a Salesforce Data Cloud Developer to join their growing Salesforce Practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on enterprise-scale customer data transformation programmes across a range of industries including retail, automotive, financial services, and the public sector.
The Role: You’ll be working closely with architects, delivery teams, and client stakeholders to design, build, and optimise Salesforce Data Cloud solutions that enable organisations to unlock the value of unified customer data.
Key Responsibilities: • Build and configure Salesforce Data Cloud solutions • Configure Data Streams, DMO mappings, transformations, and ingestion pipelines • Implement Identity Resolution rules and customer profile unification • Develop Calculated Insights and Segments using SOQL and Data Cloud SQL • Configure Activations into Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and third-party platforms • Support integrations via APIs, MuleSoft, and native connectors • Participate in client workshops, sprint ceremonies, and technical documentation

Experience Required: • 3–5 years of Salesforce development experience • At least 1 year working with Salesforce Data Cloud • Strong experience with: Data Streams Unified Data Model Identity Resolution Segmentation & Activations Strong SOQL and Data Cloud SQL skills Experience integrating Data Cloud with Salesforce products and external platforms Salesforce Certified Administrator certification required Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months

Nice to Have: • Experience with Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud • Exposure to MuleSoft, CRM Analytics (Tableau CRM), or Agentforce • Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery • Additional Salesforce certifications highly beneficial
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a client-facing consulting environment and wants to be part of a rapidly growing Data Cloud capability delivering enterprise transformation programmes.
