About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data360 / Data Cloud Architect for an initial 6-month contract (Outside IR35) to lead the strategy, design, and technical delivery of enterprise unified data architectures.
In this role, you will serve as the core technical authority on Salesforce Data360, bridging enterprise data infrastructure with real-time operational CRM and AI activation. You will be responsible for defining identity resolution frameworks, building scalable data pipelines, and establishing the unified data foundation that powers enterprise analytics, cross-cloud workflows, and agentic AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical architecture, solution design, and data governance for enterprise Salesforce Data360 / Data Cloud implementations and extensions.
- Design robust data models, data streams, and zero-copy / federated integration patterns connecting Data360 with Core Salesforce (Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud) and enterprise data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
- Establish identity resolution rules, unified data schemas (DLOs/DMOs), calculated insights, and segmentation frameworks to unlock real-time activation across channels.
- Guide data engineering and platform development teams on best practices for ingestion, transformation, data action triggers, and API integrations.
- Partner closely with enterprise architects, data governance councils, and business leads to ground AI models (such as Agentforce) and automate cross-departmental customer workflows.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting and implementing enterprise data platforms, with deep hands-on specialization in Salesforce Data Cloud / Data360.
- Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Identity Resolution, Data Streams, Calculated Insights, Data Actions, and dynamic Segmentation/Activation targets.
- Deep proficiency in SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipeline integration architectures.
- Proven experience with Zero-Copy architecture, data federation, and integrating with external data lakes/warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, GCP, AWS).
- Strong understanding of how Data360 feeds downstream capabilities, including Agentforce, RAG / vector search, and cross-cloud automation.
- Communication:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex data architecture decisions to executive stakeholders and non-technical business leaders.
- Certification:
- Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification preferred.

While this UK-based role is fully remote, we are also open to discussing similar Salesforce contract opportunities across Mainland Europe with EU-based candidates.
