Salesforce Technical Architect
Location: London (Hybrid) | Salary: Up to £130,000 DOE
About the Role
Join a leading consultancy specialising in enterprise Salesforce transformation, where you’ll play a critical role in delivering large-scale Salesforce programmes for ambitious organisations. Operating at the cutting edge of Salesforce, Data, and AI technologies, you’ll design scalable, enterprise-grade solutions while fostering technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
As part of a growing team, you’ll collaborate with experienced architects, consultants, and delivery teams, championing technical direction across multi-cloud Salesforce deployments and future capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable
- Define and govern end-to-end solution architecture across Salesforce clouds and integrated technologies
- Provide technical leadership to development teams throughout the entire delivery lifecycle
- Align solutions with Salesforce best practices, scalability standards, and security governance
- Review technical designs, guide complex implementation challenges, and support deployment/environment strategies
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Drive technical quality and architectural governance across the entire project lifecycle
- Contribute to internal technical communities, capability development, and innovation initiatives
- Advance the adoption of AI-enabled tools to enhance solution quality and delivery efficiency

What You’ll Bring
Salesforce Technical Architecture Expertise
- Significant experience designing and delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions
- Proven expertise as a Lead Architect on complex multi-cloud Salesforce programmes
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, governance, and security
Essential Technical Experience:
- Core Salesforce Clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
- Exposure to Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud Advanced, CRM Analytics (CRMA), or Industry Clouds (Health, Life Sciences, Education)
- Hands-on experience with AI integrations (e.g., Agentforce) and emerging AI tools
- Strong proficiency in declarative/programmatic development techniques
Certifications Preferred:
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect
- Additional Salesforce architecture certifications are a real asset
Solution Architecture & Design
- Produce and govern technical architecture artefacts, including:
- High-Level Design (HLD) & Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation
- System and technical landscape documentation
- Integration architecture and migration strategies
- Data architecture, security models, and ERDs
- Define architecture standards and provide technical coaching to teams
- Assure delivery-quality solutions through ongoing reviews and guidance

Integration & Proficiency
- Experience designing Salesforce integrations with third-party platforms:
- Document generation, e-signature solutions, and CTI integrations
- API-based and low-code/no-code platforms
- Compliance-driven architecture for multi-tenant setups
Delivery & Stakeholder Leadership
- Facilitate workshops and technical discoveries, translating complex technical concepts for stakeholders
- Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering team growth
- Support QA, testing, and successful UAT outcomes throughout projects
DevOps & Deployment Practices
- Fluency with Salesforce metadata deployment (Gearset/GitHub) and release automation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and environment strategies
