About The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer for a six-month fixed-term contract on a remote basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing our client’s Salesforce platform, which is integral to their operational and student management processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative team environment, contributing to the development of scalable, reliable solutions that streamline key functions such as admissions, recruitment, and student lifecycle management.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Salesforce development, with hands-on experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools like Flows. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Salesforce solutions, ensuring the platform's stability, security, and performance. The role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, deployment, and continuous improvement of development practices, making it suitable for a developer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in Salesforce development, including designing and implementing solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative automation tools
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security architecture, and sharing rules
- Experience with version control systems and structured deployment practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to debug complex platform issues
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Proactive, team-oriented approach and a willingness to contribute to developing shared standards and best practices
- Relevant certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I or II are advantageous
- Prior experience working within educational or similar organizational environments
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions leveraging both declarative tools and programmatic development (Apex, Lightning Web Components)
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical designs and build plans
- Contribute to the development of modules related to admissions, recruitment, student lifecycle processes, and operational workflows
- Perform impact analysis to ensure changes align with existing system architecture, data models, and integrations
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues related to automation, permissions, data integrity, and system behavior
- Support deployment and release activities, including testing, code reviews, and platform monitoring to ensure stability and performance
- Provide technical guidance and support to administrators, support teams, and stakeholders, promoting best practices in Salesforce usage
- Continuously improve development standards, documentation, and operational procedures across the Salesforce environment
- Work collaboratively with internal developers, analysts, IT teams, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions that meet organizational needs
