About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team at Required IT. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative Salesforce projects that directly influence our clients' success. As a Salesforce Developer, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other technical teams to design, develop, and enhance Salesforce applications that deliver tangible business value. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions, utilizing both declarative and programmatic Salesforce tools. Your expertise will help streamline processes, improve user experiences, and ensure the integrity and security of our Salesforce environment.

This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about leveraging Salesforce technology to solve real-world problems. You will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and analysis to deployment and ongoing support. Staying up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and best practices will be essential to ensure our solutions remain innovative and effective. This position offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility to balance remote work with collaborative office-based activities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong technical background. Relevant certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator and Platform App Builder are essential, with Salesforce Platform Developer I certification being highly desirable. You should have extensive hands-on experience configuring Salesforce environments, including building Flows, Workflow Rules, and Process Builder automations. Proficiency in Apex programming, SOQL, SOSL, and Data Loader is required for developing custom solutions and integrations.

Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud is necessary, with additional knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud being advantageous. A passion for continuous learning and professional development through Trailhead and other Salesforce certifications is highly valued. Excellent communication skills are essential to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and document solutions clearly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze requirements from the product backlog and design specifications to develop effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Translate business needs into scalable, maintainable, and user-centric Salesforce applications using both declarative and programmatic tools.
  • Design, develop, and customize Salesforce components, including Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and flows.
  • Configure Salesforce automation tools such as Flows, Workflow Rules, and Process Builder to optimize business processes.
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to continuously improve existing solutions and recommend innovative enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
