Description

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Customer Solutions, the Salesforce Analyst/Developer is responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise Salesforce CRM solutions, with responsibilities aligned to experience and role level. This role focuses on hands-on platform development to support customer-facing and revenue-related business processes, including lead management, opportunity management, quoting, pricing, and downstream integrations.

The Salesforce Analyst/Developer works closely with CRM Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into high-quality, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions. The role balances new feature delivery with ongoing platform support, continuous improvement, and technical debt reduction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools such as Flows, validation rules, and approval processes.
  • Build and enhance Salesforce functionality to support lead-to-opportunity, quote-to-order, and customer lifecycle processes.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and working solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and unit tests, ensuring code quality, performance, and required test coverage.
  • Implement and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) and user interface enhancements aligned with UX and platform best practices.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Visualforce to support and remediate legacy components during the ongoing migration from Visualforce to a fully Lightning (LWC)-based environment.
  • Actively participate in legacy remediation and technical debt reduction efforts by refactoring or retiring outdated Visualforce components, in collaboration with developers and architects, in favor of modern Lightning (LWC) solutions.
  • Support Salesforce integrations with ERP, pricing, and other enterprise systems using APIs and event-based patterns, in collaboration with integration teams.
  • Participate in release management activities, including code promotion across environments, deployment planning, and production releases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and production support incidents related to Salesforce applications.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce security models, including profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and data access controls.
  • Contribute to established platform standards, reusable components, and development best practices.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration details, and post-implementation learnings.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay current on Salesforce platform capabilities, releases, and emerging development patterns.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
