Salesforce DevOps Engineer / Lead
Copado, DevOps, Salesforce, APO, CI/CD Pipelines
£80,000 - £110,000
London - Hybrid
We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce DevOps Engineer / Lead to build, govern, and optimise DevOps processes across a complex Salesforce estate.
You’ll take ownership of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, release governance, environment strategy, and secure, high-quality deployments across multiple Salesforce environments. You will be the lead on all projects you are engaged with, there is no management within this role.

- Design, implement, and manage Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using Copado, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Lead deployments across Development, SIT, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
- Own release planning, deployment schedules, rollback procedures, and post-release validation.
- Drive automation, quality gates, governance, auditability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, product owners, release managers, and delivery teams.
What we’re looking for
- Strong Salesforce platform, release management, and environment management experience.
- Hands-on CI/CD experience with Copado, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar.
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce DX, Metadata API, branching, merging, and deployment governance.
- Experience in Agile delivery, change management, regulated environments, and stakeholder reporting.
- Confidence leading, mentoring, and raising DevOps maturity across delivery teams.

Nice to have:
- Public sector or regulated environment experience
- DevSecOps exposure
- Automated testing frameworks
- Salesforce, Copado, or Azure DevOps certifications
