Who We Are
Intentive is a CRM consultancy built for the AI inbox era. We help consumer brands turn CRM from a channel that quietly erodes the brand into one that actively enriches it.
Our philosophy is simple: every send either erodes or enriches, and there is no neutral.
So we treat every send as a brand act with a commercial outcome, we read engagement as a signal rather than a vanity metric, and we ship in small two-week bets so we learn fast and keep improving.
Now we need a hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud specialist to come and build with us.
The Role
You're the person in the platform, doing the build itself: the journeys, the emails, the automations, the segmentation and the data underneath them.
You take a clear brief and turn it into a working, tested SFMC CRM programme that's ready to ship.
It's a large multi-brand, multi-market programme with real scale, so expect serious complexity in identity, localisation and data.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll partner closely with the client's in-house developer on personalisation logic and alongside the client's brand team, who'll be producing the content you're bringing to life.
It's hands-on throughout. You're in the platform building most days, not managing from above. You'll report to the founder and to the delivery lead on the programme.
What You'll Do
- Build and configure across Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder and Data Extensions.
- Write, read and debug AMPscript and SQL.
- Set journeys and decisioning logic up from a brief, and wire in the segmentation.
- Keep the data model clean as the programme grows.
- Coordinate with the client's developer on personalisation.
- Own the QA, so that what goes out is right.
- Build against a clear scope each two-week sprint, ready for review.
- Work with AI as part of the job, for code generation, QA and pattern work. It handles the drudge, you handle the judgement.
What You'll Bring
- At least one large end-to-end SFMC build behind you, where you owned the hands-on delivery rather than sat on the edge of it.
- Real fluency across Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder and Data Extensions.
- Enough AMPscript and SQL to build, read and debug with confidence.
- Solid HTML and CSS for email. This one is essential, since you'll be hands-on with templates, coding and rendering across clients and inboxes.
- A working grasp of data architecture and identity inside SFMC, so you're thinking about the data model and not just the send.
- Comfort delivering to a two-week sprint rhythm.
- Enough independence to take a brief and run with it without needing every step spelled out.
- Strong written and spoken English.

Bonus Points
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud accreditations, whether that's Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Developer or Administrator. Multi-brand or multi-market experience.
How to Apply
Send a CV and a short note to hires@intentive.digital with the subject line "SFMC Specialist — [Your Name]". In the note, tell us about the most complex SFMC build you've worked on, what was hard about it, and what you'd do differently next time.
Applications that do not adhere to the above will not be considered.
The process will be two stages - a chemistry call and a detailed scenario-based session where we work through a real SFMC problem together and see how you think and build.
No agencies, please and thank you!
