Salesforce OMS Senior Developer
Location: Remote (UK) with 2–3 days/month onsite
Contract: 6 Months + Potential 6-Month Extension
Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Salesforce Order Management (OMS) Senior Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable OMS solutions supporting complex retail and eCommerce order lifecycles. The role requires strong hands-on Salesforce development, integration expertise, and technical leadership within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Salesforce OMS capabilities including order lifecycle, fulfillment, inventory visibility, returns, and cancellations.
- Build Salesforce components using Apex, LWC, Flows, Triggers, and SOQL/SOSL.
- Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architecture, and connected systems (Commerce, ERP, WMS).
- Deliver end-to-end user stories, support SIT/UAT, deployments, and production releases.
- Work on OMS features including Order Summary, Payment Flows, Fulfillment Routing, and OCI Inventory Management.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years Salesforce Development experience with 2+ years Salesforce OMS experience in retail/eCommerce environments.
- Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, Integration Patterns, Async Processing, and DevOps pipelines.
- Deep understanding of OMS order lifecycle, payments, fulfillment, store operations, and OCI inventory capabilities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and multi-squad delivery environments.

Preferred Skills
- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, App Builder.
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, headless commerce integrations, and DevOps automation.

- Excellent communication and ability to work independently in a distributed team environment.
