Help Shape the Future of Our Salesforce Practice
We're looking for an experienced Salesforce Pre-Sales Solution Architect to play a key role in the continued growth of Synechron's Salesforce practice.
Working alongside our Sales Directors, Alliance teams and Delivery leaders, you'll shape enterprise Salesforce opportunities from initial client engagement through to proposal and contract award. You'll combine technical credibility, consulting expertise and commercial awareness to design compelling solutions that solve real business challenges while helping clients realise the value of digital transformation.
This is an opportunity to influence strategic enterprise pursuits across the UK, with an immediate focus on Financial Services and Banking, while also supporting our growing US Salesforce business.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Salesforce Pre-Sales Solution Architect who can bring together business consulting, solution architecture and commercial thinking to help win complex enterprise transformation programmes.
You'll partner closely with Sales Directors throughout the sales cycle, leading solution design, supporting client workshops, creating compelling proposals and demonstrating how Synechron's Salesforce capabilities solve business challenges.

While Financial Services and Banking is our immediate strategic focus, you'll also support opportunities across Insurance, Energy & Utilities, Communications & Media and Health & Life Sciences.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Solution Shaping
- Partner with Sales Directors to shape complex Salesforce consulting opportunities from discovery through to proposal.
- Design solution approaches that align client business challenges with Synechron's Salesforce capabilities.
- Lead solution workshops, discovery sessions and technical discussions with enterprise clients.
- Ensure proposed solutions are commercially viable, technically achievable and aligned to client outcomes.
Pre-Sales & Opportunity Leadership
- Support opportunities throughout the entire sales lifecycle, helping progress deals from early qualification through to contract award.
- Develop compelling solution narratives, proposals, statements of work and client presentations.
- Contribute to pursuit strategy, competitive positioning and win themes.
- Support client demonstrations, proof of concepts and executive presentations where appropriate.
Technical & Solution Credibility
- Act as the technical authority during Salesforce sales engagements.
- Provide credible guidance across Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture and implementation approaches.
- Work with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic, scalable and deliverable.
- Translate technical concepts into clear business value for executive stakeholders.
Sales Collaboration & Consulting
- Operate as a trusted partner to Sales Directors throughout enterprise pursuits.
- Collaborate with consulting, delivery and industry experts to develop integrated transformation solutions.
- Position broader Synechron capabilities beyond Salesforce technology where appropriate, including AI, Data, Cloud and Digital Transformation.
- Help create differentiated value propositions that address client business outcomes.
Salesforce Alliance & Ecosystem

- Develop strong relationships with Salesforce Account Executives, Alliance Managers and solution specialists.
- Collaborate with Salesforce on joint pursuits and strategic account planning.
- Support alliance initiatives that strengthen Synechron's market position and pipeline generation.
- Represent Synechron within the wider Salesforce ecosystem.
Go-to-Market & Practice Development
- Develop reusable sales assets, industry propositions and solution accelerators.
- Contribute to demonstrations, reference architectures and sales collateral.
- Share knowledge and best practices across the Salesforce practice.
- Support continuous improvement of our pre-sales methodology and proposition development.
We Are Looking For People With
- Minimum of 7 years' experience delivering Salesforce solution architecture or pre-sales consulting within a Salesforce Partner, Systems Integrator or Consultancy.
- Proven experience supporting enterprise Salesforce sales opportunities from discovery through to contract award.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Experience designing enterprise Salesforce solutions across integration, data, security and architecture.
- Demonstrable experience working within one or more of the following industries:
- Financial Services & Banking (highly desirable)
- Insurance
- Energy & Utilities
- Communications & Media
- Health & Life Sciences
- Ability to confidently engage both business and technical stakeholders, from architects through to C-level executives.
- Experience facilitating workshops, discovery sessions and executive presentations.
- Strong consulting mindset with the ability to understand client challenges and translate them into practical solution approaches.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience developing proposals, solution documentation and go-to-market assets.
- Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect or relevant Consultant certifications would be advantageous.
