About the Role
The Quality Control Specialist ensures products comply with company and industry standards through inspections, testing, and process evaluations. This role demands strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a dedication to maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring regulatory (e.g., FDA, ISO, GMP) compliance and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Document and report inspection results, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain and update quality control documentation, including test records and reports.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and best practices.
- Work cross-departmentally to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
- Train employees on quality standards and procedures.

Requirements
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma
- Prior experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, FDA), and testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot defects or inconsistencies.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in quality control tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Education & Experience
- Certification in Quality Control or Quality Assurance (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Technician).
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
Travel Requirements
- No travel obligatory.
