We're looking for an experienced Sales Director to join our growing UK Salesforce practice and help accelerate our expansion within the Banking sector.
You'll join a small, high-performing sales team of three Sales Directors, supported by an experienced pre-sales function, with the opportunity to play a significant role in shaping our growth strategy. Backed by Synechron's global reputation in financial services and digital transformation, you'll focus on winning new enterprise clients while expanding relationships across our existing banking customer base.

The Opportunity
As a Sales Director, you'll be responsible for driving new business growth within the UK Banking sector, developing executive relationships, creating qualified pipeline and winning large-scale Salesforce consulting and implementation engagements.
This is a true hunter role suited to someone who enjoys opening doors, creating opportunities and leading complex enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through to contract signature.
Key Responsibilities

New Business Development
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow Synechron's Salesforce Banking business across the UK.
- Identify, qualify and win new enterprise opportunities within Tier 1 and Tier 2 banking organisations.
- Build a strong pipeline through proactive business development, networking and partner collaboration.
- Develop strategic account plans for priority banking clients.

Executive Client Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Understand client priorities and position Salesforce-enabled business transformation solutions.
- Lead complex commercial discussions and negotiate enterprise consulting engagements.

Solution Selling
- Work closely with pre-sales, solution architects and delivery teams to develop compelling client propositions.
- Sell consulting-led Salesforce transformation programmes spanning advisory, implementation, integration and managed services.
- Ensure a seamless transition from sales to delivery while maintaining executive client relationships.

Salesforce Partnership
- Build strong relationships within the Salesforce ecosystem to generate opportunities and strengthen Synechron's market presence.
- Collaborate with Salesforce account teams on joint pursuits, pipeline development and go-to-market initiatives.
- Represent Synechron at Salesforce and industry events.

Performance & Growth
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and sales targets.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
- Provide market intelligence and contribute to the continued development of our Banking growth strategy.
About You
You'll be an experienced enterprise sales professional with a proven track record of selling Salesforce consulting services into the Banking sector.
You'll have:
- A minimum of 8 years' enterprise technology consulting sales experience.
- At least 5 years selling Salesforce consulting and implementation services within a Salesforce Partner or Systems Integrator.
- Strong experience selling into UK Banking and Financial Services organisations.
- A proven track record of winning complex, multi-million-pound consulting engagements.
- Experience building executive relationships with C-level and senior business stakeholders.
- Excellent consultative selling and solution selling capabilities.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce technologies, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and the wider Salesforce ecosystem.
- Experience collaborating with pre-sales, alliances and delivery teams throughout complex sales cycles.
- Excellent commercial, negotiation and presentation skills.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment.
