Salesforce Solutions Engineer
Location: London – Remote Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 + bonus
We are partnering with an established and fast-growing company developing innovative, AI-powered, and agentic solutions on the Salesforce platform. Their product enables organisations to maximise value from their Salesforce investment through scalable, intelligent, and user-focused technology. As they expand, they’re seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Salesforce Solutions Engineer to support sales and drive new business growth.
About the Role
As a Salesforce Solutions Engineer with a strong pre-sales focus, you will act as the technical and functional expert, supporting the sales process by:
- Collaborating with Account Executives to analyse customer challenges
- Designing compelling solutions
- Demonstrating how the application delivers measurable business value

A key responsibility is bridging the gap between customer requirements and product capabilities, accelerating deal cycles by building confidence in both product and services perspectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales to assess opportunities and refine winning strategies
- Lead discovery sessions to uncover prospect needs and business objectives
- Develop and deliver tailored Salesforce product demonstrations
- Clearly articulate technical and business value propositions to all stakeholders
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs by providing technical insights to proposals and Statements of Work
- Create proof-of-concepts (POCs) and solution designs aligned with customer use cases
- Share insights with Product and Engineering teams based on market feedback
- Support implementation handover to ensure a seamless transition post-sale

Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3–6 years of experience in Salesforce pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and integration
- Experience with an ISV or Salesforce AppExchange ecosystem (preferable)
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to demonstrate solutions effectively
- Commercially savvy, capable of translating technical functionality for business outcomes
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder) highly desirable
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
