The Role
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Tester to join our Technical Services team. You will ensure that changes to our Salesforce CRM and connected systems meet quality standards before they reach production.
This is a hands-on testing role. You will be writing test cases, executing them, raising defects, and owning the sign-off process. You will also play a key role in preparing our business users for testing, running demos, and supporting UAT cycles.
What You will Be Doing
- Perform end-to-end testing across systems, validating that data flows correctly between Salesforce, NetAdmin, and integrated platforms throughout the order, provisioning, and service lifecycle.
- Create and maintain test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, and integration testing across Salesforce CRM, NetAdmin, and third-party integrations.
- Design and manage test data to support all testing stages, including UAT preparation.
- Execute test cycles and validate API integrations using Postman, covering request/response behaviour, data integrity, and error handling.
- Log defects with clear reproducible steps, expected vs actual results, and severity classifications, tracking them to resolution with developers and supplier teams.
- Coordinate testing activities with external supplier teams, raising risks and dependencies early in cross-functional discussions.
- Prepare business users for UAT with test packs and briefing documents, support them during execution, and provide formal sign-off.
- Provide test evidence and quality sign-off for releases, ensuring that changes meet acceptance criteria before progressing through the change and release management process.
- Deliver demos of new functionality to business users and maintain regression suites across releases.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
