About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth in the European Aerospace & Defense sector. While the position is primarily based in the United Kingdom, the role is open to candidates across Europe and may include remote or flexible assignments.

This role is pivotal to our European expansion strategy and is focused on one of the fastest-growing markets within Keysight’s Aerospace & Defense business. It blends market development, strategic partnerships, and deep industry insight to position the company as a trusted partner for defense and aerospace innovation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a solid understanding of aerospace and defense applications, with initial focus areas including electronic warfare (EW) and radar systems.

Responsibilities

  • Open to remote work within the UK and Europe*

This role is responsible for developing and executing business plans for key accounts to drive revenue growth across the UK and broader European region. The individual will articulate the company’s value propositions clearly to customers and position Keysight as a trusted partner, building strong relationships from mid-level stakeholders through executive leadership within critical accounts. The role requires proactive engagement in market intelligence activities to identify trends, competitive positioning, and strategic opportunities, while leveraging the extended organization as needed.

The Business Development Manager will be expected to marshal internal resources effectively to advance opportunities, align closely with the sales organization to achieve growth objectives, and drive measurable outcomes with a primary focus on sales order growth. Additionally, the role includes ownership of forecasting and reporting responsibilities, providing clear and consistent updates on business performance to mid- and senior-level management.

Domain Expertise (Radar & Electronic Warfare Focus)

Radar & Electronic Warfare Experience

  • Experience supporting radar and EW programs within aerospace, defense, or government environments.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling customer value.

Customer-Facing Technical Leadership

  • Ability to effectively engage both technical and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience & Skills

  • Strong background in aerospace and defense business development within Europe.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, strategic planning, and customer engagement skills.
  • Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus.

  • Customer-focused with the ability to build trusted partnerships.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and results-driven.
