Role Description

The Salesperson will work on-site in the London Area, United Kingdom, in a full-time capacity, engaging directly with customers in the showroom and via phone and digital channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and qualifying customers
  • Understanding their needs
  • Presenting suitable vehicles
  • Explaining features, benefits, and finance options
  • Preparing and following up on quotations
  • Managing test drives
  • Handling negotiations within defined guidelines
  • Closing sales in a professional manner

The Salesperson will maintain accurate records in the CRM system, coordinate with finance and aftersales teams, and ensure vehicles and the showroom are presented to a high standard. This position also includes building long-term customer relationships, supporting repeat and referral business, and contributing to sales targets through proactive outreach and lead follow-up.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive sales or luxury retail sales, with strong customer-facing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to explain vehicle features, finance options, warranties, and aftersales services clearly and confidently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional, service-oriented approach to client interactions.
  • Competence in using sales management systems, email, and office productivity tools for tracking leads and sales activity.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups.
  • Comfort working in a target-driven environment, with a focus on meeting or exceeding individual and team sales goals.
  • Knowledge of the UK automotive market and interest in performance, luxury, and family vehicles; prior experience in the London market is an advantage.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to conduct safe, professional test drives with clients.
  • Availability to work full-time, including weekends and peak trading hours as required.
  • Relevant education or training in sales, business, or customer service is beneficial but not mandatory.
