Business Development: They will identify, target, and secure new B2B fuel customers and lead negotiations from initial enquiry through to contract agreement. Account Management: The executive will manage a portfolio of existing commercial accounts, monitoring performance and usage patterns to ensure long-term retention and growth. Pricing & System Management: They will take full ownership of customer pricing, including setting and adjusting rates in line with market conditions using the CODAS system. Commercial Insight: The role requires monitoring competitor activity and wholesale price movements to inform sales strategy and provide regular performance forecasts. Operational Liaison: They will coordinate with operations, transport, and customer service teams to resolve issues promptly.

Experience & Requirements The ideal candidate will combine a strong sales background with sharp numerical and analytical capabilities.
Professional Experience: Proven experience in B2B sales is required, ideally within the fuels, energy, logistics, or related industrial sectors. Technical Skills: A strong working knowledge of the CODAS system or similar ERP/CRM platforms is highly desirable. Commercial Acumen: They must be confident in managing their own pricing, margins, and commercial decision-making. Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential. Personal Attributes: The ability to work autonomously, prioritise a varied workload, and maintain high attention to detail is expected.
