Company Description GREENALLS PUBS AND RESTAURANTS LIMITED is a hospitality company operating pubs and restaurants in the United Kingdom. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Southport. The Salesperson will actively engage with guests in the pub and restaurant, promoting menu items, specials, and events while ensuring a high standard of customer service.

Daily tasks include:
- Greeting and serving guests
- Explaining offerings
- Upselling food and beverage options
- Handling basic inquiries about the venue and promotions
- Maintaining a clean and organized sales area
- Collaborating with bar and kitchen staff to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Supporting local marketing initiatives such as loyalty programs or special events
The Salesperson will work to meet sales targets, handle cash or payment processes accurately, and provide feedback on customer preferences and trends to management.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests.
- Sales and upselling abilities, including confidence in promoting menu items, specials, and events to increase revenue.
- Basic numeracy and point-of-sale skills, with accuracy in handling payments, cash, and transaction records.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills, with the capacity to work effectively alongside bar, kitchen, and management staff.
- Reliability, time management, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Experience in hospitality, retail, or customer-facing sales environments is beneficial. Knowledge of food and beverage service or willingness to learn menu details and responsible service practices. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional training in hospitality or sales is an advantage.
