Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Mill Hill. The Salesperson will welcome customers to the site, understand their needs, and present suitable automotive services and solutions in a clear and confident manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves working closely with the service and workshop teams to coordinate bookings, ensure smooth customer handovers, and support upselling of relevant services such as diagnostics, maintenance, and repair packages. The Salesperson will also contribute to meeting sales targets, promoting Cartopia’s brand values, and ensuring a professional, customer-focused experience at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, listen actively, and communicate clearly with a diverse range of customers.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience in converting enquiries, handling objections, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Organizational and administrative skills, such as maintaining accurate records, managing bookings, and using CRM or similar systems efficiently.
- Basic understanding of automotive services (servicing, MOTs, diagnostics, repairs) or a strong willingness to learn about technical concepts and industry standards.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced on-site environment, collaborating with workshop and office teams, and adapting to changing customer needs.
- Proficiency with common digital tools (email, spreadsheets, booking systems) and confident telephone and in-person communication.
- Previous experience in automotive sales, service advising, or a related customer-facing role is beneficial but not essential.
- Reliable, professional work ethic, with a focus on integrity, transparency, and delivering a high-quality, stress-free experience for customers.
