We’re looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic, and service-focused salesperson for our Gateshead store. If you are commercially minded and results-driven, we’d love to hear from you. With uncapped earning potential amongst other great benefits, read on to find out more.

Role Requirements:

  • Inspire our customers with an in-depth knowledge of our products and their features and benefits
  • Create a smooth sales process for our customers, including negotiating prices, processing orders, agreeing delivery arrangements
  • Proactively keep up to date with innovation and trends in the industry
  • Aim to exceed individual targets and KPI’s
  • Support the store operationally, checking stock levels, getting ‘hands on’ with furniture deliveries and customer collects
  • Ensure the store standards are maintained to a high level

Requirements:

  • Experience in a retail sales environment, with exposure to furniture retail being advantageous
  • A passion for providing an excellent level of service, always making the customer a priority
  • A self-motivated approach, with the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Confidence with computers, systems, and figures
  • Effective and adaptable communication skills. Dealing with customers, suppliers, and colleagues face to face, over the phone, and via email
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, thinking on the spot to overcome obstacles
  • A flexible approach regarding work and working hours, which may include weekends and bank holiday working
  • Good organizational skills, and an ability to move between tasks
