Overview

We’re helping local salons fix a simple problem: they’re being charged to message their own clients. We’re not doing that.

We’re looking for someone confident walking into salons, starting quick conversations, and booking follow-ups.

This isn’t pushy sales. It’s short, natural conversations with business owners.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Visiting local salons in person (walk-ins)
  • Starting friendly, low-pressure conversations with staff or owners
  • Asking a simple question to open the conversation
  • Leaving a leaflet where needed
  • Booking follow-up meetings for the founder to run

You won’t be:

  • Doing demos
  • Closing deals
  • Handling anything technical

Your role is: start conversations + open doors.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Visit 10–20 salons
  • Have quick conversations with staff/owners
  • Book 1–3 follow-up meetings
  • Email follow up

What We’re Looking For

This suits someone who:

  • Is comfortable walking into businesses and starting conversations
  • Doesn’t overthink things or hesitate
  • Comes across calm, friendly, and switched on
  • Can handle the occasional “not interested” and move on
  • Prefers being out and about rather than behind a screen

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Bonus (not required): experience in hospitality, retail, or face-to-face roles, interest in hair & beauty.

Who This Role Isn’t For

  • People who prefer working behind a screen
  • Pushy or aggressive salespeople
  • Anyone looking for a purely commission-only role

Pay & Earnings

  • Base pay (flexible depending on hours)
  • Bonus per meeting booked
  • Additional bonus for salons that sign up

Earnings grow naturally with activity. For example, someone working 12 hours a week who visits around 30 salons, books 6 good follow-up meetings and sees 1-2 salons later join could earn around £260 for the week, including base pay and signup bonuses. That works out to around £1,130 per month at 52 hours, equivalent to roughly £45k full-time.

Hours

  • Flexible, part-time
  • Weekday daytime (salon opening hours)
  • Can fit around other work or studies

Why This Role Is Different

  • You’ll be working directly with the founder
  • You’ll see real results from your work quickly
  • The product solves a genuine, common frustration
  • Opportunity to grow with us as we expand into other areas
