Store Associate – Brampton – Part-Time
Salon Centric is the premier national distributor of salon professional products in the U.S. In 2008, founded by L’Oréal USA, it now operates 585 SalonCentric and 260 StateǀRDA stores across the U.S. Since 2023, Salon Centric has expanded into Canada, starting in Ontario, with openings planned for British Columbia (2024) and expansions in Quebec (2025 & 2026).

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
- Assess customer needs and guide them with product knowledge.
- Welcome customers and address all inquiries promptly.
- Meet and exceed departmental sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- "Go the extra mile" to drive sales growth.
- Keep assigned areas stocked and neat.
- Engage and assist customers proactively.
- Stay knowledgeable about products to offer well-informed recommendations.
- Process point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
- Cross-sell complementary products effectively.
- Handle returns professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Build productive, trust-based relationships with regular customers.
- Follow inventory control procedures meticulously.

Position Details
This is a part-time role requiring weekend availability.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Preferred: Previous industry experience in beauty or retail is a strong asset.
- Critical:
- Strong English communication (verbal & written).
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience (experiences in retail or customer service preferred).
- Excellent organisation, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Natural team player mindset.
- Capacity to learn quickly and retain product knowledge at a high level.
- Strong customer service orientation.
