Job Responsibilities:
- Sample Reception: Responsible for receiving customer samples according to SOP, which may include different types of biological samples such as blood, cells, DNA, RNA, etc.
- Sample Registration and Storage: Record detailed information of each sample online (LIMS). Print and affix labels accordingly, and store them in the correct location as per storage requirements to ensure sample integrity and stability.
- Sample Collection and Return: Follow SOP for sample collection and return, cooperate with various departments for sample collection and return, and track and record related sample movements.
- Customs and Shipping Documentation: Responsible for the customs and shipping documentation of all shipments outbound from UK Lab.
- Communication of Exceptions: Promptly communicate any sample damage, loss, or other abnormal situations with laboratory team/PC colleagues and take necessary corrective actions.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment related to sample management to ensure its normal operation.
- Document Records: Maintain sample records and files to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.
- Supplies Management: Manage consumables and supplies required for sample processing to ensure an adequate and timely supply.
- Collaboration and Communication: Maintain effective communication and collaboration with the laboratory team, external partners, and customers.
- Training and Quality Control: Participate in training to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and participate in quality control and assurance activities.
- Environmental Health and Safety: Ensure that the work environment meets hygiene and safety standards and take necessary safety measures.
- Other Tasks: Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

- Associate degree or above in Biology, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Ability to independently operate the sample collection, sample return, sample forwarding, sample destruction, sample return process, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly motivated, flexible, and willing to support team objectives.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
