SAP Administrator

THE OPPORTUNITY – SAP ADMINISTRATOR
The SAP Administrator is required to provide support in the maintenance, and pursuit of a continuously improving cost management service to all internal stakeholders
Location: Aberdeen Office
Duration: Contract role starting ASAP through to 18th December 2026
PAYE Day Rate: TBC
Closing Date for Submissions: Sunday 12th July
Spirit Energy currently have a non-contractual hybrid working arrangement for all office-based workers (Aberdeen and Barrow). 4 days must be worked in the office with compulsory days being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The fourth day worked in-office (either Monday or Friday) is of the worker’s choosing but should be in keeping with what is most efficient and effective for their team. The office is open 5 days a week for full time, in-office working if this is the contractor’s preference.

AND NOW FOR THE TECHNICAL BIT…
Responsibilities:
- Quality Control review Purchase Requisitions (PRs)
- Raising PRs in SAP and updating the Cost Tracker accordingly
- PR management – corrections/closures/problem solving
- Distributing vendor invoices to JRE’s for review and approval
- Raising Service Entry Sheets (SES’s) in SAP
- Running weekly actuals and commitment reports from SAP
- Assisting in the maintenance and roll-out of cost management processes and procedures.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Good experience in an ERP/ SAP Administration role, preferably within an Oil and Gas Operator
- Detailed and practical knowledge of SAP from an R2P perspective
- Project controls experience would be beneficial
- Great communication skills that informs/shares knowledge clearly and unambiguously and also implements and embeds change.
- Builds rapport and can influence in a constructive way / skilled at influencing decision makers on complex topics.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively, within their team and across the organisation and externally as required.
