Contract – SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Lead
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Proven experience leading SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning delivery across complex transformation programmes
- Strong expertise delivering SAC Planning solutions covering budgeting, forecasting, performance management and strategic workforce planning
- Demonstrable experience leading the full solution lifecycle, including design, build, testing, deployment and post-go-live support
- Experience owning solution design, ensuring coherent, integrated and business-aligned SAP Planning solutions
- Proven ability to guide teams on SAP best practices, standard functionality and appropriate solution design decisions
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with Finance, Analytics, Data, Testing and Programme Leadership teams
- Experience managing workstream plans, RAID logs, status reporting, governance and programme deliverables
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops, facilitate discussions and engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and solution leadership capabilities
- Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across business and technical teams
- Must be eligible and willing to obtain UK Government Security Clearance (minimum 5 years living and working in the UK)

DESIRED SKILLS
- Experience delivering SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions within large-scale Public Sector or Government transformation programmes
- Strong understanding of Finance planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes
- Experience integrating SAP Analytics Cloud with wider SAP Finance and Enterprise Planning solutions
- Previous experience leading multi-disciplinary workstreams across Development, Reporting, Integration and Testing teams
- Experience facilitating business workshops, requirements gathering and solution shaping activities
- Strong delivery management experience across Agile, Hybrid or Waterfall programme environments
- Experience producing solution design documentation, deployment documentation and programme governance artefacts
- Knowledge of SAP best practice planning models, standard capabilities and performance optimisation techniques
- Experience supporting complex stakeholder environments with multiple business and technical dependencies
OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Lead to lead the delivery of an enterprise Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting workstream within a major Public Sector transformation programme.
Reporting to the Finance Delivery Lead, you will take ownership of the SAC Planning solution, ensuring it is coherent, integrated and aligned to business objectives. You will provide technical and functional leadership across the workstream, guiding the team on SAP best practices, standard capabilities and key design decisions whilst ensuring successful delivery throughout the programme lifecycle.

Working closely with Finance, Analytics, Data, Development, Reporting, Integration and Testing teams, you will be responsible for leading planning workshops, shaping business requirements, managing programme dependencies and ensuring all workstream deliverables are completed to the agreed quality standards and timelines.
The successful candidate will bring extensive SAP Analytics Cloud Planning leadership experience, combined with strong stakeholder management skills and a proven track record of delivering complex planning solutions across large transformation programmes. You will be comfortable operating within fast-paced environments where solution ownership, governance, collaboration and delivery excellence are critical to programme success.
This position would suit an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud Planning professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills and enjoys leading high-profile transformation initiatives where planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management are central to organisational success.
