Senior SAP Reporting Manager, BI / SAC / Data Sphere Solutions

Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, designing, and delivering SAP core reporting capabilities to the supported business units, particularly Finance, working collaboratively to ensure optimised reporting availability, driving process benefits and real-time, data-driven decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and leading the SAP reporting team, focused on rationalising existing, building new, and standardising reporting templates and dashboards to boost business adoption and usage.
- Driving the strategic design, development, and support of SAP reporting through Core BI, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), and Data Sphere to deliver optimal reporting capabilities across the organisation.
- Acting as the technical owner and reporting champion of SAP solutions, driving business enablers of data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Provide optimal SAP Reporting functional expertise, driving technology as the "business enabler" for strategic organisational reporting and decision-making.
- Design and implement a best-in-class reporting competency model within the Arm SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE), leading the business towards centralised, rationalised, and standardised reporting, while ensuring accessible data repositories.
- Influence key business and senior leaders on adoption of SAP reporting capabilities, road-mapping new functionalities to drive change effectively.
- Lead and mentor BI, SAC, and Data Sphere functional teams, implementing optimal reporting lifecycle methodologies, and standardising dashboards and templates for strategic decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive hands-on technical experience in SAP BI, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), and Data Sphere, enabling leadership and evaluated design/development of SAP reporting capabilities.
- Strategic understanding of SAP’s data and analytics roadmap, including experience in continuous improvement initiatives and leading large-scale SAP reporting development and support.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, balanced by an ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical senior leaders.
- Proven leadership and mentorship track record for processing certification, development practices (Waterfall, Agile) and influencing business users.
- Effective coaching skills for team members and key business users.
"Nice to Have" Skills & Experience

- Experience in SoX (Sarbanes-Oxley) governed environments.
- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified SAC / Data Sphere!).
- Reading and debugging ABAP knowledge.
- Familiarity with agile development practices alongside Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in mentoring technical colleagues and business users.
- Exposure to global, diverse, and multicultural environments.

Salary Range
£79,600–£107,600 per annum (depending on experience and hired role location).
