SAP BI Lead
Senior SAP Reporting Lead (BI/SAC/Data Sphere)

Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Creating, designing, and delivering SAP core reporting capabilities for supported business units, particularly Finance.
- Collaborating to ensure optimised reporting availability, supporting process benefit and facilitating real-time data-driven decision making.
- Leading the SAP Reporting team to rationalise existing, build new, and standardise reporting templates and dashboards for wider business adoption and usage.
- Driving the strategical design, development, and support of SAP reporting using Core BI, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), and Data Sphere to deliver optimal analytics capabilities across the organisation.
- Acting as the technical owner and reporting champion of SAP solutions, end-to-end, to provide the "business enabler" for data-driven business decisions.
Responsibilities
Strategic Direction & Leadership
- Provide optimal SAP reporting functional expertise and technical guidance, positioning technology as the "business enabler" for organisational reporting and decision-making.
- Design and implement a best-in-class reporting competency within the Arm SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE), steering the organisation towards:
- Centralised, rationalised, and standardised reporting.
- Optimal data and reporting repositories to empower business functions with fast and accurate decision making.
- Influence key business and senior leadership resources in adopting SAP reporting capabilities, shaping roadmaps to:
- Drive new functionalities that support organisational goals.
- Successfully accelerate change initiatives.

Team Leadership & Methodology
- Lead and mentor a functional team, focusing on BI, SAC, and Data Sphere.
- Implement optimal methodologies for the reporting lifecycle, including:
- Designing, developing, and supporting standardised SAP and non-SAP reporting templates and dashboards.
- Ensuring methodologies align with strategic enterprise analytics objectives.
Required Skills And Experience
Technical Expertise
- Extensive hands-on technical skills in SAP BI, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), and Data Sphere to provide trusted guidance in design and development decisions.
- Strategic understanding of the SAP data and analytics roadmap.
- Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvements in SAP reporting development and support within a large organisation.
Stakeholder & Leadership
- Experience in stakeholder management and relationship-building.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical leaders (senior management and board-level stakeholders).
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to:
- Negotiate priorities with agility.
- Gain confidence in fast-paced environments.
Behavioral Competencies
- Commitment to mentoring, both technical colleagues and key business users, identifying coaching opportunities as needed.
"Nice To Have" Skills And Experience
Additional Technical Expertise
- Experience in SoX-governed environments.
- SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified SAP Analytics Cloud or Data Sphere).
- Knowledge of ABAP for robust reading and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.
