Role: SAP S/4HANA Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) Consultant
Job Type: Permanent
The Role
As a SAP S/4HANA Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and delivering SAP JVA solutions that support joint venture operations within the Oil & Gas industry. You will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical consultants to design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA Joint Venture Accounting processes in line with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA Joint Venture Accounting solutions.
- Configure, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA JVA processes.
- Conduct business workshops, requirement gathering sessions, fit-gap analysis, and solution design activities.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements.
- Design and configure Joint Venture Accounting processes including ownership management, venture accounting, and partner billing.
- Support and optimize cutback processing, cash calls, equity adjustments, and revenue distribution processes.
- Facilitate solution demonstrations, design reviews, and stakeholder sign-off sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, Controlling, and Asset Management modules.
- Support data migration activities related to venture master data, ownership interests, settlement balances, and historical transactions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations, and Oil & Gas business practices.
- Participate in testing activities including SIT, UAT, and production support.
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous process improvement recommendations.

Your Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Joint Venture Accounting (JVA).
- Extensive experience in:
- Ownership Management
- Venture Accounting
- Partner Billing
- Cutback Processing
- Cash Calls
- Equity Adjustments
- Strong understanding of SAP Finance and Controlling components, including:
- FI General Ledger (FI-GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Cost Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- WBS Elements
- Asset Accounting
- Proven experience in business process analysis, fit-gap assessment, and SAP solution design.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and coordinating developments with technical teams.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting full project lifecycle implementations, enhancements, and production support.

- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA best practices and industry-leading processes.
