Data Migration Lead - Job Profile
A. Role
The consultant will fulfil the role of SAP Data Migration Lead (Client side).
B. Skills/Experience Required
- Strong knowledge and experience in Finance (R2R, P2P) and Professional Services data (Client Delivery and Order to Cash).
- Extensive experience in working in a data migration role with ability to plan and manage scope items.
- Ability to work with hybrid delivery model combining both structured, waterfall and agile approaches.
- Strong background and experience in Finance and Accounting migration,
- Self-starter, with ability to lead using own initiative with minimal support.
- Able to work collaboratively with extended project team. Willing at all times to seek or receive guidance from the Finance BPOs\SME and SAP S4 solution architect.
- Ability and confidence to manage IT vendors and SI’s throughout the project lifecycle.
- Able to manage parallel data migration across 20+ countries (70~100 legal entities).
- Able to manage a small internal team in charge of finance data and customer/customer projects data
- Exposure to Informatica would be a big plus, as transformation rules and pipeline of work will likely be based on this technology.

C. Key Responsibilities / Deliverables
- Lead, as a Programme Manager the data migration activities, planning and allocation of data migration consultants to the appropriate data migration tasks.
- Help in defining the data migration strategy from Source to SAP S4 HANA, including from SuccessFactors to SAP S4.
- Oversee and provide delivery assurance for the data migration scope under the System’s Integrator responsibility.
- Work with the SI data migration lead to ensure a single and consistent data plan produced for the program.
- Co-host, alongside the SI data project manager, the data migration workshops along with program planning and delivery timeline.
- Ensure that the data preparation, load and test activities are executed at all times in accordance to the detailed data migration plan.
- Responsible in monitoring and measuring the quality of the data being migrated to the new target SAP S4 platform.
- Responsible for driving the resolution of all data related issues and deficiencies while working with the SI Team in managing data loads during SIT 1,2, 3, UAT and cutover activities.
- Co-facilitate data work stream status meetings & internal program reports.
- Manage the internal data migration team in terms of extraction, transformation, monitoring, guiding and helping in team delivery as per the plan and timeline.
- Lead on all data related governance activities including updates to the PMO Team.
- Responsible for ensuring that all data migration activities can be audited and that a process is put in place that will enable auditors to trace and reconcile all the data migrated. This includes all master and transactional data (including finance data related items).
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with business stakeholders and data owners.
- Responsible to escalate to the Programme Directors (Vistra and SI) on any issue that may put the overall delivery at risk, and by consequence, the quality of any go live.
- Lead the team of data analysts (internal Vistra staff and contractors) and ensuring their utilization is maximised at all times.
- Support the process of capturing the client hierarchy which does not exist today.
- Reports to the Company’s Programme Director.

D. Location
- The role will be primarily remote working with attendance at Company offices/international client sites as agreed/required.
