SAP FICO Consultant
📍 Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team in London, UK. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), with experience delivering end-to-end SAP implementations, support, and enhancement projects. You will work closely with business stakeholders to optimize financial processes and deliver scalable SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Finance and Controlling processes.
- Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting (CCA), Profit Centre Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
- Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, upgrade, and support projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, PP, WM, and Basis to deliver integrated SAP solutions.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend best-fit SAP solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications and support technical teams during development and testing.
- Conduct system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment activities.
- Provide post-go-live support and resolve production issues.
- Deliver user training and create functional documentation.
- Ensure SAP solutions comply with financial controls, statutory regulations, and organizational standards.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
- Strong expertise in SAP FI and CO configuration.
- Experience with full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
- Good understanding of financial accounting and controlling business processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
- Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and production support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- SAP FI/CO or SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification is preferred.
- Experience working in multinational or consulting environments is an advantage.
