The Role As an SAP Finance Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP Finance solutions across implementation, rollout, enhancement, and steady-state support phases. You will play a key role in SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes, ensuring that finance processes are optimised, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, leadership in solution design, and ownership of delivery across the finance domain.
Your responsibilities: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Finance (FI/CO) solutions across key processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Financial Close. Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into scalable SAP system solutions. Lead client workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design activities. Drive SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, including corporate finance, reporting, cash management, treasury, and group reporting. Oversee integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and CO. Own functional deliverables, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, and configuration documentation. Support testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and performance testing, ensuring deployment readiness. Manage data migration, validation, reconciliation, and sign-off processes. Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for issue resolution and solution alignment. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and financial performance KPIs.

Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience: Strong experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO), including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cost and Profit Centre Accounting. Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA or ECC finance implementations. Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and financial reporting. Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design. Ability to translate business requirements into configuration and functional specifications. Experience leading client workshops and stakeholder engagements. Strong knowledge of integration between SAP Finance and other modules such as MM, SD, and CO. Experience supporting testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead teams and manage deliverables across multiple workstreams.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: Extensive experience in IT services or enterprise software environments. Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules. Previous experience delivering end-to-end SAP transformation programmes in client-facing roles. Ability to define and govern solution architecture and manage change requests. Experience translating functional gaps into RICEFW objects and estimating effort. Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work with offshore delivery teams. Experience creating and reviewing functional specifications, test scenarios, and training materials.
