Job Title: SAP Key User

Location: Global (business presence across 100+ locations) Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri) Annual Salary: £33,740.45

About the Role

As the SAP Key User, you’ll bridge the gap between IT, customers, and warehouse operators, ensuring the system aligns with business needs. Your work is critical to:

  • Testing and implementing SAP solutions for new customers.
  • Optimising inventory, stock control, and operational efficiency.
  • Driving continuous improvement through data analysis and process refinements.

You’ll support operational teams, collaborate with cross-functional SAP partners, and foster client alignment—all while cultivating a culture of problem-solving and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

System & Process Management

  • Conduct SAP testing to validate workability of solutions for customers and business operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in the SAP system.
  • Liaise with clients to gather requirements and translate them into system improvements.

Warehouse & Inventory Support

  • Oversee inventory management, cycle counting, and stock control.
  • Analyse system data to identify and suggest optimisations.

Customer Onboarding & Team Development

  • Lead implementation of new customers within the warehouse environment.
  • Report test matrices to guide deployment and training.
  • Train and develop the SAP Warehouse support team.

Cross-Team & Global Collaboration

  • Work with SAP teams across borders to ensure system consistency and alignment.
  • Provide operational support for warehouse staff.
  • Present best practice solutions for process improvement across all clients.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Essential:
    • [SAP Key User (ERP) experience]—with proven ability to influence system configurations.
    • Strong proficiency in PC tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Hands-on experience with SAP WMS and Power BI data analysis.
    • Experience liaising with clients, diagnosing issues, and driving solutions.
    • Sharp analytical skills to extract insights from system data.
    • Strong stakeholder management—able to connect all parties for seamless workflows.
