SAP AMS Consultant – SAP MM (Materials Management)
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our Application Management Services (AMS) team and provide functional support, enhancement, and continuous improvement services for SAP Procurement and Inventory Management processes. The consultant will play a key role in supporting business operations, resolving production issues, implementing enhancements, and ensuring service delivery excellence across SAP MM and integrated modules.
The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, SAP MM configuration, production support, incident management, and stakeholder engagement within a global AMS environment.
Key Responsibilities
AMS Support & Service Delivery
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP MM processes and related integrations.
- Manage incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and change requests in line with established SLAs and KPIs.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive solutions.
- Participate in major incident resolution and business-critical issue management.
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential risks and improvement opportunities.
- Support business users during critical periods, including month-end and year-end activities.
- Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 6–10 years of SAP experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP MM consulting experience.
- Proven experience in SAP AMS support engagements.
- Strong experience in procurement and inventory management processes.
- Experience supporting global and multi-country SAP environments.

Preferred Qualifications
- SAP MM Certification.
- SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement experience.
- Exposure to SAP Ariba integration.
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications.
- Knowledge of SAP EWM and SAP TM integration.
- Experience working in ITIL-based service delivery environments.
- Understanding of SAP MDG for Material Master governance.
