Why is this an exciting time to be an SAP Order to Cash Specialist at Greencore?
The SAP Order to Cash Specialist will be accountable for supporting the development and driving forward the overall product strategy for the SAP S4/HANA technology platform, that will act as the foundation to our digital transformation at a global level over the next decade.
As a SAP S4/HANA technology expert, the role holder will provide strategic and technical consultancy/guidance and advice to senior stakeholders setting both the platform strategy and design. They will also be partnering with IT technology colleagues and System Integrators.
The role will seek opportunities to re-engineer processes and re-architect solutions to deliver high quality, innovative, fully architected & strategic solutions. This will be accomplished by executing key initiatives through the full project management lifecycle working with internal and external IT professionals.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with senior business and IT stakeholders working alongside Senior Product Manager to develop the product strategy aligning it with the overall business objectives
- Acts as a trusted advisor and builds and maintains relationships with IT colleagues and senior stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensures cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs and can respond with agility to changing business priorities
- Complete comprehensive assessments of the existing SAP landscape, evaluating its effectiveness, scalability, and alignment with business goals. Identify opportunities for improvement and develop a roadmap for application modernization (including the use if AI agents and automation). Presenting the final assessment to Design Authority and Steerco
- Using specialist technology and business process knowledge, define & govern project scope in the OTC space and complete deliverables in agreed timelines. Manage backlog items from requirements gathering to deployment
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners, building relationships, and ensure delivery of high-quality services and solutions. Evaluate proposals and conduct technical configuration/customization of solutions that meet our customers’ needs and provide great user experience aligned with clean core principles
- Working with other teams, ensuring smooth transition and user acceptance of transformed applications
- Bring insight of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant, enable improvers to assess and recommend suitable tools, frameworks, and methodologies to drive efficiency, scalability, and maintainability of applications
- Responsible for ensuring all products supporting the business are compliant with internal security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements
- Work with the support organization to troubleshoot incidents and escalations providing resolution to break-fix issues. Demonstrate the ability to resolve complex issues, manage user relationships, and delivery. Proactively seek ways to reduce the volume of support work, identifying common/recurring issues, and proposing improvements

What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in SAP and business/industry
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, finance, business administration or related field, or equivalent SAP certification and work experience
- Proven end to end delivery of multiple SAP S4/HANA transformation programmes (Build, Test, Deploy and Hypercare). Experience with template rollout
- SAP S4/HANA SD configuration experience is mandatory. Good knowledge of the technical and process integration across OTC (order management and fulfilment, logistics, billing) and other functional areas i.e. Accounts Receivable, FI/ OTC integrations, FI/ MM integrations.
- Track record in successful technical development, solution design, programme and product delivery, as well as service management. Experience with managing continuous improvement backlog
- Experience with multi-track SAP landscapes and BTP capabilities
- Demonstrated breadth of knowledge and solution delivery experience across the end-to-end financial and supply chain processes and integration points with other processes (e.g. O2C, P2P, RTR)
- Experience of working with multiple third parties systems such as Manhattan and integration platforms such as Azue
- Excellent relationship management, strong influence, and communication skills
- Deep content knowledge of respective functional areas (business operating models, processes & products). Best practice, fit to standard and clean core principles demonstrated
- Understanding of Agile Software Development, experience in Scrum, Kanban, and other methodologies. Experience with using tools such as Jira and CALM
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA upgrades would be beneficial
- High quality artefact approach, creation and maintenance
