Careers at TCS: It means more
TCS is a purpose-led transformation company, built on belief. We do not just help businesses transform through technology. We support them in making a meaningful difference to the people and communities they serve, including some of the biggest brands in the UK and worldwide. For you, it means more to make an impact that matters through challenging projects that demand ambitious innovation and thought leadership.
Be part of a vibrant and growing Enterprise Solutions practice delivering SAP-led transformation for major UK and European clients.
- Work at the intersection of industry, technology and client strategy, bringing an outside-in perspective to CPG transformation.
- Lead high-impact pre-sales pursuits that shape customer roadmaps across SAP S/4HANA transformation, deployment and managed services.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, architects and delivery teams to convert strategic opportunities into successful customer outcomes.
The Role
As an SAP CPG Pre-sales Lead, you will shape and position SAP S/4HANA propositions for Consumer-Packaged Goods customers across the UK and Europe. You will work closely with account teams, industry leaders, solution architects and delivery teams to qualify opportunities, design compelling solution narratives, lead customer conversations and support deal conversion. The role balances strategic pre-sales leadership with practical delivery handover, ensuring customer expectations are clearly understood and translated into achievable transformation outcomes.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop differentiated SAP S/4HANA propositions, solution themes and value cases tailored to CPG customer priorities.
- Lead customer-facing pre-sales discussions, workshops, solution presentations and executive-level conversations.
- Partner with sales and account teams to qualify opportunities, influence pursuit strategy and improve deal conversion.
- Translate winning propositions into practical delivery plans, commercials and transition approaches with delivery leadership.
- Support handover from sales to delivery, ensuring customer expectations, risks and success measures are clearly managed.
- Contribute reusable assets, thought leadership and market insights to strengthen the SAP CPG pre-sales practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
