Job Title: SAP AI Delivery Lead
Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid — 3 days onsite/week)
Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level
Job Type: Contract, Inside IR35
Rate: £550–£600 per day
End Client: BT
About the Role
We're looking for an SAP AI Delivery Lead to work with our end client BT — a hands-on role leading end-to-end delivery of SAP Business AI, Joule, and SAP BTP AI services across Enterprise Technology, starting with Finance.
BT is looking for someone who can take approved SAP AI opportunities from roadmap into controlled delivery — managing the end-to-end delivery of SAP Business AI, Joule, SAP BTP AI services, automation, analytics, and related enterprise AI use cases. You'll coordinate business teams, architects, SAP specialists, security, data, change, testing, and service operations to ensure AI use cases are delivered safely, adopted by users, and transitioned into support with clear ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert SAP AI roadmap priorities into delivery plans, milestones, sprint plans, dependencies, and release schedules
- Lead delivery of SAP Business AI and Joule use cases across relevant SAP business areas, starting with Finance
- Coordinate SAP BTP setup, AI service enablement, identity and access requirements, data access, integrations, testing, and deployment readiness
- Work closely with architects, product owners, SAP functional teams, SAP Basis/BTP teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
- Manage AI use case delivery from discovery and design through build, test, pilot, user adoption, go-live, and hypercare
- Ensure AI delivery follows security, data, compliance, responsible AI, audit, and operational support requirements
- Track benefits, adoption, defects, risks, decisions, and delivery blockers through clear governance and reporting
- Plan go-live, hypercare, and transition to live operations — runbooks, monitoring, incident processes, and support ownership

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
