SAP PSCD Functional Consultant – Full-Time Hybrid Role (Worthing)

About the Role
This is a full-time, hybrid SAP Public Sector Collection and Disbursement (PSCD) Functional Consultant role based in Worthing, with the flexibility to work from home part-time.
The consultant will:
- Configure and support SAP PSCD modules
- Translate business requirements into functional designs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise public sector collection and disbursement processes

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct workshops with business users to refine requirements
- Perform system analysis and prepare functional specifications
- Coordinate with technical teams on development and integrations
- Oversee testing activities (unit, integration, user acceptance)
- Support data migration and resolve production issues
- Provide user training and documentation for stable system operations
- Develop solutions that ensure effective billing, payments, and revenue management
Requirements
Technical
- Strong SAP PSCD functional expertise, including:
- Configuration and process design
- Integration with related SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD)
- Experience in testing (unit, integration, UAT), issue analysis, and defect resolution
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or SAP implementation methodologies (e.g., Activate) is a plus

- Background in public sector, utilities, or tax/collections processes
- Understanding of billing, payments, and revenue management systems
- Ability to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into functional designs
Soft Skills & Collaboration
- Excellent stakeholder communication and user workshop facilitation
- Strong ability to deliver training and documentation for end-users
- Experience in hybrid or client-facing consulting roles, with self-organisation and time management
Academic & Legal
- Relevant degree (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Willingness to commute to Worthing as required for project/stakeholder engagements
