Lead the quality assurance strategy for a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.
CRH is seeking an experienced Testing Lead to drive the testing and quality assurance workstream for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA Bluefield Upgrade (Connect Upgrade) spanning multiple European operating companies.
Reporting to the SAP Lead, you'll own the end-to-end testing strategy, ensuring successful delivery across all phases of the programme—from planning and environment readiness through to UAT sign-off and go-live validation.
This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with business stakeholders, functional leads, system integrators and programme leadership to deliver a robust, scalable testing framework. A key part of the role will be the hands-on management of testing activities within SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) and the integration of automated testing through Tricentis TTA.
What you'll be doing
- Defining and implementing the overall testing strategy for the SAP S/4HANA programme
- Leading the planning and execution of all testing phases, including:
- Unit Testing
- System Testing
- Integration Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression Testing
- Managing test environments, test data preparation and readiness activities
- Coordinating internal teams, business users and external delivery partners
- Tracking and reporting on test progress, risks, defects and quality metrics
- Owning test management and defect management within SAP Cloud ALM (CALM)
- Driving end-to-end requirement traceability across manual and automated testing activities
- Managing the integration between SAP Cloud ALM and Tricentis TTA to ensure automated test execution and reporting are fully aligned
- Overseeing defect lifecycle management from logging and prioritisation through to resolution
- Providing knowledge transfer and best practice guidance to CRH teams on CALM and Tricentis capabilities

What we're looking for
- Extensive experience leading testing programmes within SAP environments
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and complex ERP transformation programmes
- Proven track record delivering large-scale testing across multiple business and technical workstreams
- Hands-on expertise with SAP Cloud ALM, including:
- Test planning
- Test execution
- Defect management
- Reporting and governance
- Experience integrating and managing automated testing through Tricentis TTA
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively within a multinational programme environment
Location & Travel
This role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel across Europe, including:
- ✈️ UK
- ✈️ Dublin
- ✈️ Amsterdam (typically once per month)
Additional travel to other European locations such as Germany, Romania and Finland may be required during key programme phases.
