SAP Security & Authorisations Lead
SAP Security & Authorisations Lead – Permanent – Hybrid – Slough (3 days per week)

We’re looking for an SAP Security & Authorisations Lead to join our team and support full lifecycle ECC and S/4HANA projects.
This is a hands-on lead role where you’ll be trusted to:
- Shape the security approach
- Guide role design
- Support delivery
- Help clients achieve a secure, practical and fit-for-purpose solution
Responsibilities
You’ll take ownership of SAP Security & Authorisations activity across complex SAP programs, including:
- Leading role design, build, administration and maintenance across ECC and S/4HANA
- Working with clients to understand access requirements and translate them into practical solutions
- Creating and reviewing:
- Blueprints
- Design documents
- Functional specifications
- Delivering or supporting security workshops with:
- Business teams
- Technical teams
- Advising on:
- SAP Security best practice
- Authorisation concepts
- Access controls
- Analysing and resolving authorisation issues
- Supporting:
- Testing
- UAT
- Cutover
- Go-live
- Post-go-live stabilisation
- Managing risks, dependencies and blockers in coordination with:
- Wider project teams
- Providing:
- Clear updates to:
- Clients
- Stakeholders
- Internal teams
- Clear updates to:
- Building and maintaining:
- Trusted client relationships
- Ensuring a great AG experience

Requirements
You’ll likely bring:
- Around 10+ years’ experience in SAP Security & Authorisations
- Strong expertise in:
- ECC & S/4HANA role design
- Administration & maintenance
- Deep understanding of:
- SAP authorisation concepts
- Roles & profiles
- Security design
- Strong knowledge of:
- SAP Security & Authorisation tables
- Experience troubleshooting complex authorisation issues
- Good grasp of:
- SAP landscapes
- Transports & version compatibilities
- Ability to create security design documentation
- Excellent stakeholder management & client-facing skills
- Strong Excel skills for:
- User data analysis
- Role & access data reviews
- Clear communication skills with the confidence to:
- Lead
- Advise
- Challenge when needed
- Proactive, practical mindset
- Ownership-driven approach

- Oil & Gas, Energy, Natural Resources or Automotive sectors
- S/4HANA transformation programs
- SAP NetWeaver, BW, BPC, EWM or SAP PS
- SAP GRC or access risk analysis
- Winshuttle, Prometheus, RPA or automation
- Working in Agile SAP delivery environments
