Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire Contract Type: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home) Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Contract: Permanent Visa Sponsorship: Not available (Applicants must have unrestricted right to work in the UK)

You will collaborate with a globally recognised organisation, providing market intelligence, advisory services, analytics, and software solutions to over 1,000 of the world’s leading energy companies.
About the Role
Our client is implementing SAP SuccessFactors and is seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Engineer (Employee Central) to become their in-house Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the platform.
- Initially, you’ll work alongside implementation partners to deliver the setup.
- Post-go-live, you’ll take full ownership, ensuring the platform is secure, optimised, and continuously enhanced to support evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities
Core Implementation & Support
- Act as the internal SAP SuccessFactors SME for Employee Central and other modules.
- Guide the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors for People & Culture, transitioning to business-as-usual operations.
- Configure, administer, and continuously enhance the SAP SuccessFactors environment.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high-level service delivery.
Troubleshooting & System Management
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and system issues, collaborating with the SAP Application Management Support (AMS) partner as needed.
- Plan, prepare for, and support bi-annual releases, including impact assessments, testing, and deployment.

Stakeholder Engagement & Business Alignment
- Collaborate with People & Culture teams, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into effective HR solutions.
Process Optimization & Automation
- Identify opportunities for automation, optimisation, and continuous improvement in HR processes.
- Support, monitor, and troubleshoot SAP SuccessFactors integrations with internal and third-party systems.
Reporting & Compliance
- Develop, maintain, and improve reports and dashboards within SAP SuccessFactors.
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure quality, integrity, and compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and organisational policies.
Change Management & User Support
- Produce and maintain system documentation, configuration records, and change logs.
- Support end-user adoption through training and clear documentation.
Essential Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
- Minimum 3+ years’ hands-on experience configuring, administering, and supporting SAP SuccessFactors in a global enterprise environment.
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification preferred.
- Additional certifications in SAP SuccessFactors modules, including (minimum one):
- Employee Central Time Management
- Compensation
- Onboarding
- Performance & Goals
- Deep understand of SAP SuccessFactors architecture and data modelling.
- Experience with Employee Central configuration, integration support, and production system troubleshooting.
- Proven experience with:
- SAP SuccessFactors bi-annual release cycles
- SAP SuccessFactors integrations with HRIS/HRMS systems
- Developing reports and dashboards
Soft Skills & Mindset
- Strong understanding of HR business processes, data security, GDPR, and information governance.
- Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Jira.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (ability to explain technical concepts across both technical and non-technical audiences).
- Ability to manage high-priority demands in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive, collaborative, and continuous improvement mindset.
