SAP SuccessFactors Test Lead – England (Client-Facing Role)

We are looking for a SAP SuccessFactors Test Lead to join one of our clients based in England as part of their Internal Technology department and HRMS project team. In this role, you will lead all aspects of testing, collaborating closely with:

  • Project Management
  • Workstream Leads
  • The SAP Partner, supporting SAP SuccessFactors implementation

A deep understanding of SAP SuccessFactors—both functional and technical—is essential. Key modules for Phase 1 include:

  • Employee Central (including Time Off)
  • Performance Management & Goal Management
  • Onboarding (2.0)
  • Variable Pay

This is a full-time, client-facing role open to both employees and freelancers, with a project duration of 6 months. Working hybrid (1-3 days per week onsite in Oxford).


Key Responsibilities

Test Script Creation & Test Tool Management

  • Create detailed test scripts based on business scenarios for each module.
  • Identify and prepare test data for every test cycle.
  • Configure Azure DevOps for each cycle:
    • Develop test plans and suites.
    • Upload test scripts.
    • Manage user access.
    • Configure reporting tools.

Test Cycle Management

  • Conduct and deliver test kick-off briefing sessions.
  • Lead IT/SIT/UAT test execution.
  • Facilitate daily test triage calls during test cycles.
  • Support testers by addressing queries and blockers raised.
  • Collaborate with SAP Partners to manage defect:
    • Tracking, status updates, fixes, and retesting.
  • Provide and present daily/weekly test status, risks, and readiness reporting to:
    • Project Management
    • Governance forums

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience leading testing in SAP SuccessFactors implementations or projects.
  • Proficiency in using Azure DevOps (or similar tool) for:
    • End-to-end test governance (planning, execution tracking, defect lifecycle, analytics).
  • Strong grasp of SAP SuccessFactors system architecture and core modules.
  • SAP-certified in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Ability to:
    • Work in a fast-paced environment effectively.
    • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Flexible, collaborative attitude with:
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Relationship-building abilities across levels.
  • Demonstrable attention to detail.
