Job Description
As a Power Platform / D365 Technical Lead, you will act as the technical authority across project delivery, leading the design and implementation of scalable, secure and maintainable Microsoft business application solutions. You will combine hands-on technical capability with leadership responsibility, shaping solutions, guiding development teams and interfacing directly with customers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
This role is not purely architectural or managerial. You are expected to remain close to the technical detail, actively contributing to complex solution design, integration architecture and troubleshooting, while setting the standard for engineering quality across the team.
Given the pace of change across the Microsoft ecosystem, you will also play a critical role in continuously evolving how solutions are designed and delivered. This includes staying current with Microsoft’s platform evolution, including Copilot, Power Platform enhancements and the shift towards AI-driven and agentic business solutions. You will be expected to assess emerging capabilities, guide their pragmatic adoption in customer solutions and ensure that delivery approaches remain aligned to modern, future-fit patterns.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
