Job Title: SC Cleared Fullstack Developer

Role Summary:
Due to strategic growth and ongoing projects, our Client is seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Developer holding SC (Security Check) clearance. This role is central to deploying complex, secure software solutions that uphold national security standards. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to crucial public sector projects, working within a talented team of professionals committed to innovation. Your expertise will directly influence the delivery of resilient and secure systems that have a lasting societal impact.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated full-stack applications supporting secure government systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions on time and within scope.
- Lead architecture activities to establish robust, scalable, and secure software frameworks.
- Integrate open-source components and ensure seamless system interoperability.
- Write, review, and maintain detailed technical documentation for APIs, code, and deployment processes.
- Support and troubleshoot deployed software within live environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Contribute to agile development cycles, participating actively in sprint planning and reviews.
- Implement and promote DevOps practices, including containerisation with Docker and automation pipelines.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Holds or is eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
- Proven background in full-stack application development using at least two back-end technologies, such as Java and Python.
- Extensive experience with modern front-end frameworks, particularly React and vanilla JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and API design.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
- Practical expertise in secure DevOps practices and containerisation technologies (Docker).
- Demonstrated ability to specify, build, and test complex software solutions with clear documentation.
- Effective communicator in verbal and written English, capable of sharing technical concepts clearly.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience working within government, defence, or security sectors.
- Knowledge of GPU architectures and artificial intelligence integration.
- Familiarity with scaled agile (SAFe) or similar frameworks.
- Possession of UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
- Advanced architectural modelling skills using a range of industry-standard tools.
