We're supporting a leading global Defence and Aerospace organisation in the search for an experienced PMO Reporting Analyst to join their growing Digital & IT PMO team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting a large portfolio of Digital and IT change programmes by delivering high-quality reporting, analytics and PMO governance within a complex enterprise environment.
Key points:
- Rate: £53 per hour (Inside IR35)
- Duration: Contract through to December 2026
- Location: Hybrid working (approximately 20% onsite in Luton)

The Role
Working within the Digital & IT PMO, you'll provide portfolio reporting, performance analysis and governance support across multiple projects, helping senior stakeholders make informed decisions through accurate data and meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate and manage portfolio performance data
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Excel and other reporting tools
- Produce standard and ad-hoc reporting packs for senior leadership
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Analyse portfolio and project performance trends
- Support PMO governance, assurance activities and stage gate reviews
- Ensure compliance with PMO standards and project lifecycle processes
- Translate business reporting requirements into effective reporting solutions
- Work closely with Portfolio Leads, Digital teams and key stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, analytics and PMO processes
- Provide general PMO administration where required

Essential Skills
- Previous experience within a PMO, Project Controls or Reporting Analyst role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent experience using Power BI (or similar visualisation tools)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:
- Power Query
- Pivot Tables
- Advanced formulas
- Good understanding of project governance and PMO processes
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data quality standards
- Ability to communicate technical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of SAP
- Experience with JIRA
- Understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Exposure to automation technologies such as:
- Power Automate
- Python
- SQL
