Job Title: SC Cleared Project Manager

Location: Remote with occasional visits to Telford

Duration: Until 31st May with possible extension

Rate: Up to £800 per day via an approved umbrella company

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering impactful IT solutions within the Public Sector? Our client, a reputable organisation, is seeking a dedicated professional to lead application and infrastructure projects that make a real difference.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and deliver complex application and infrastructure projects for Public Sector clients, ensuring successful outcomes
  • Manage project scope, risks, and changes using professional tools such as MS Project, SAP, ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence
  • Provide clear guidance and inspiration to your project teams, fostering understanding of customer needs and securing stakeholder buy-in
  • Protect project teams from distractions, enabling focused delivery
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers and strategists through excellent communication
  • Oversee financial management, reporting, and risk mitigation for projects and programmes
  • Support transition of projects to Service Operations teams and contribute to bid and impact assessments

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience delivering IT projects, including application and infrastructure initiatives, within the Public Sector
  • Proven leadership in managing project teams to achieve successful results
  • Strong customer management skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Experience working with agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery methods
  • Creative problem-solving skills to navigate project challenges
  • Knowledge of infrastructure change projects, including networks, is advantageous
  • Current SC is desirable; candidates with a history of security clearance are encouraged to apply
  • UK residency for over five years
