Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (SC Cleared)

πŸ“ UK (Hybrid / Onsite as required)

πŸ“… Contract: 1st July 2026 – 30th June 2027

πŸ” Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team within a major programme. This is a hands-on, technical role focused on building and delivering complex customer solutions, with a strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure engineering and supporting data-driven platforms.

You will play a critical role in the early phases of the programme, shaping and deploying scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

This role is ideal for someone with a developer mindset who thrives on building solutions rather than advising, and is comfortable working at pace within agile delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Engineering (Primary Focus)

  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions
  • Build robust, secure, and scalable environments across cloud platforms
  • Develop and implement automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
  • Perform hands-on system administration and platform engineering
  • Work with strong awareness of networking, security, and architecture best practices

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
