SC Cleared Technology Commercial Lead - London | 6-month rolling contract | £650-£750 per day
We're supporting a central government department delivering a large-scale technology commercial transformation programme.
The organisation has hundreds of technology contracts supporting thousands resources across multiple programmes and product teams. They're looking for an experienced consultant to review the current supplier landscape, identify duplication, and develop a strategy to rationalise contracts into a smaller number of strategic commercial agreements.

This role is less about technical delivery and more about commercial transformation, supplier strategy and operating model optimisation.

Responsibilities
- Review the existing technology supplier landscape across multiple programmes and portfolios.
- Identify duplicated capability, overlapping contracts and opportunities to consolidate suppliers.
- Develop recommendations on insourcing, outsourcing and future sourcing models.
- Lead contract rationalisation activities to simplify the technology supply chain and improve commercial efficiency.
- Work closely with Commercial, Procurement, Finance and Technology stakeholders to define the future supplier strategy.
- Produce business cases and implementation plans to support supplier consolidation.
- Ensure commercial changes minimise disruption to ongoing programme and product delivery.
- Engage senior stakeholders to drive agreement across complex organisational structures.
