SC Cleared Security Architect (OutsideIR35 Contract)
Overview:
This is a Fully Remote OutsideIR35 Contract!
We're supporting a public sector end client with an immediate requirement for SC security-cleared Security Architects to deliver hands-on security architecture across ongoing programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver security architecture across projects/products, producing clear, implementable designs.
- Create and maintain architecture artefacts (e.g., HLD/LLD, security patterns, control mappings, risk decisions).
- Lead/own security design reviews and provide pragmatic guidance to engineering and delivery teams.
- Ensure solutions align to relevant security standards, policies, and assurance requirements.
- Support stakeholders with risk-based decisioning, remediation plans, and security-by-design outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as a Security Architect (delivery-focused, not purely governance).
- Strong ability to translate security requirements into practical architecture and controls.
- Experience working in regulated / public sector environments (or similar high-assurance settings).
- Excellent stakeholder management and written documentation skills.
