Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Scaffolder role based in Bournemouth. The Scaffolder is responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures in line with safety regulations and project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Loading and unloading materials
- Assembling scaffolding components

- Performing routine inspections to ensure stability and compliance

The role involves working closely with site supervisors and other trades to plan scaffold layouts, respond to changing site needs, and maintain clear communication. The Scaffolder is also expected to follow all health and safety procedures, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and contribute to a tidy, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong scaffolding skills, including erecting, adapting, and dismantling scaffold structures safely and efficiently.
- Candidates should possess competencies for working at height and fall protection, demonstrating safe use of harnesses, guardrails, and other safety systems.
- Candidates should possess experience in confined space work where required, including adherence to permits, ventilation, and emergency procedures.
- Candidates should possess relevant industry certifications such as CSCS and CISRS, with evidence of up-to-date training and good understanding of site safety standards.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience on construction sites, good physical fitness, the ability to follow technical drawings, strong teamwork and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.
