Senior Scenic Project Manager Live Events
Location: (approx. 25 minutes from Central London)
Working Pattern: Core hours Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Events operate 24/7, so occasional out-of-hours and weekend delivery will be required
Hybrid Working: Available after 6 months (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
This allows time for full onboarding, embedding into our processes, and understanding our culture before moving to a hybrid setup
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience)
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Scenic Project Manager Live Events to take ownership of our most complex and high-profile scenic productions.
You will lead the delivery of ambitious scenic and staging builds across prestigious live events, ensuring excellence is delivered in every detail—from concept through to on-site execution.
With a strong background in scenic construction and project delivery (typically 6+ years within live events), you will combine technical expertise with creative thinking and commercial awareness to bring exceptional environments to life.

You will also play a key leadership role within the scenic team, supporting, guiding, and developing others while ensuring our values of creativity, passion, and excellence are reflected in every project.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll have deep expertise in scenic construction and be confident producing technical drawings using AutoCAD (or equivalent software) to create accurate, buildable design documentation.
You will be highly experienced in:
- Scenic construction methods, materials, and finishes
- Producing detailed project documentation and build information
- Managing budgets, logistics, and accurate quoting
- Interpreting client needs and translating them into practical and creative solutions
On site, you will confidently lead venue transformations, coordinating internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional finishes.
You’ll be a strong communicator who can build trusted relationships with clients, quickly understand their objectives, and respond with insight, creativity, and commercial awareness.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, confident communication
- Receive, interpret, and challenge client briefs to ensure clarity and value
- Develop creative, technical, and commercially sound responses to briefs
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce high-quality proposals and solutions
- Create accurate drawings, quotations, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with workshop, warehouse, and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Produce scenic build lists and full construction documentation
- Lead on-site delivery and oversee installation to a high standard
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback and support
- Adapt quickly to changing project requirements while keeping delivery teams aligned
